Subletspace presents: The Lot show #2 - KINGS Artist-Run, 2026
SUBLETspace is re-imagining the *LOT Show: Little Saigon*, which took place on 12 January 2025. In this show, individuals responded to the site of the Little Saigon Market and the ten-year anniversary of the fire that destroyed it.
New works and assemblages were created using found objects from the site. These interventions raised questions of value, wealth, and the persistence of self following the removal of cultural hubs and the abandonment of place.
In this second iteration, these alternate fossils seek to reconcile feelings of loss and the desire to honour subjective histories of place. Can a ghost of a building be heritage-listed?
